We are Seeking Sales Manager for USA Automotive Customers

Experience Requirements:

  • Must present - MEX & USA automotive customers working experiences.

  • Proven sales experience (in plastics parts will be a benefit).

Serves Mexican customers and NA HQ customers by selling products for Mexico site and meeting customer needs.

Services to existing accounts, obtains new projects nominations, and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule such as call on, visit, and contact existing or potential customers’ sales outlets (could be in Mexico and/or United States).

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Present background to potential customers; adjusts content of sales presentations by studying the type of sales / customers’ main business.

  • Establishes new accounts by identifying potential customers by planning and organizing sales schedule appointments

  • Meeting sales appointments goals by month

  • Travel at least 50% worldwide to attend potential customer’s appointments

  • Attend Mexican local potential customer’s appointments

  • Increase customers base and new business in the short (1 year) and medium term (2-3 years).

  • Submits prices to customers by referring to price lists (HQ) and product requirements.

  • Maintain sales volume, product mix and selling price keeping current supply and demand, changing trends, economic and competitor’s indicators.

  • Perform cost-benefit analyses of existing and potential customers.

  • Maintain positive business relationships to ensure future sales.

  • Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses.

  • Communicate and coordinate sales activity between Mexico, HQ and customer.

  • Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, and merchandising techniques.

  • Recommends changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments.

  • Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to management.

 

Sales Manager Qualifications/Skills:

  • Strong communication and written skills

  • English 95-100%

  • Presentation skills

  • Proactivity

  • 50% time travelling (USA-Mexico)

  • American VISA available

 

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or business administration

  • Two to three years of experience in sales department

  • Three to five years of sales experience

  • Proven track record of positive sales performance

  • Knowledge VDA and IATF.
